About this deal

Please. No. I mean, not from my/our point of view, being as mentioned a manufacturer and retailer of blinds; I/we will not honour any warranty for our blinds claimed on as a result of trying to No More Nails-a-blind to a wall. Non-porous material, on the other hand, doesn’t let any liquids and gases get through (e.g. glass, metals, plastics).

It can hold up to 2 kilograms of weight and can be easily cut to size and shape for any project. Unlike traditional tapes, it can be used on a wide range of surfaces, including glass, porcelain, plastic, and even roofs. Its waterproof and heat-resistant properties make it suitable for use in humid environments or near sources of heat. With transparent double-sided adhesive tape, you can mount pictures or decorations without damaging walls or surfaces, making it an ideal choice for DIY projects around the home or office. Applications of Nano Tape Now, this might sound like the UniBond guys are giving a very definitive “yes” to the aforementioned question of can you put up a blind with No More Nails or not, as long as you use the tape variant, but if you read their blurb again more carefully, there are a few seemingly-innocent caveats there that IMO, might be your downfall… Taking a closer look at the realities of putting up blinds with No More Nails On A Roll…Surface preparation is paramount for achieving the required bond when using this pressure sensitive adhesive. Read our Surface Preparation and Application Guide for more information on how to apply this foam tape. Hi Pauline, If both surfaces are completely flat and have been completely cleaned then you could try this Structural acrylic tape, but you would need to find a way of securing the bond without any weight baring on it for at least a good 12 hours! - Ian, Product Support Manager

Also. No More Nails On A Roll “can support up to 120kg per roll.” Why am I repeating this? Because up to, and because per roll.

Additionally, Nano tape can be easily removed without damaging the surface it was applied to, which makes it a cost-effective solution for fixing leaks. In addition to outdoor applications, Nano tape is also versatile enough to be used indoors for DIY projects such as hanging pictures or organizing cables. UniBond state that their No More Nails Tape – “No More Nails On A Roll” if you will – is “ideal for putting up blinds without drilling holes,” because it “has immediate grip and can support up to 120kg per roll.” Supports “up to 120kg” of weight is an almost meaningless statement; what it’s really saying in literal terms is that it will definitely not support 121kg of weight or above, but it is not saying how close to 120kg of weight it will most definitely support, nor for how long. It's great for DIY projects that require a strong attachment, without the use of traditional mechanical attachments, such as nails and screws. It's generally safe and easy to use (like most adhesives), and has incredibly high bond strength. One reviewer said: I need to secure the fairing on my sports motorbike. Would this be strong enough for that purpose? I have tried Gorilla Tape, but it wasn't strong enough. Thank-you - Gary The UniBond No More Nails range is perfect for any homeowner who wants to hang pictures without the hassle. The product you choose depends on the weight of the picture or frame, and how permanent the bond needs to be.

Ideal for the following surfaces

Product questions for our: 25mm x 1mm x 33 Metres Foamed Clear Structural Acrylic Gel Tape With Red Liner (A different size of this product) To get the perfect bond with the perfect strength, we recommend using between 200 to 400g of Pattex No More Nails per square meter. Better control First things first - what exactly is No More Nails? As mentioned in the introduction, it's a specialised adhesive. It's specifically designed to attach to porous materials, such as: Porous materials are materials that let liquids and/or gases pass through them – either partially or totally (e.g. wood, fiber glass, cork…).

In terms of functionality and whether or not your blind will actually stay up, can you basically put up a blind with No More Nails On A Roll? UniBond seem to be advocating this and they’re the manufacturer of the product, so the UniBond answer to this is yes, within the parameters that they state as limitations. Why? Because drilling down now into the level of pedantic semantics that made me really unpopular at school, UniBond state that you can hang a blind with No More Nails On A Roll – but they don’t state that you can use/operate a blind hung with No More Nails On A Roll.

Dear Sir/Madam We are having new double glazing installed and have a problem. Our old windows opened from hinges in the middle, therefore roller blinds could be fixed from the ceiling immediately over the blinds. This type of double glazed unit is no longer made and the windows now open inwards. This means the blinds would have to be fitted to the top of the frame and using screws would make the guarantee nul and void. Do you make and adhesive tape that would hold the weight of a roller blind? None of the windows are more than.a meter deep if that.
