About this deal
Why we love it: This cute tea infuser mug is so good if you can't start your day without a good old cup of English Breakfast tea. So, if the lid feels a bit stiff at first, it’ll soon relax once you’ve treated it to a nice cup of coffee. Some water bottles are dishwasher safe but it is still important to clean the smaller parts with a toothbrush or bottle brush, especially those with built-in straws.
However, if you’re anything like me and have a constant fear of your drink spilling in your bag (been there too many times), there’s not a chance of anything leaking here, even with the flip cap open. Add that to the capacity, and the ability to keep liquid hot for seven hours, and the Thermos starts to look like a very good option indeed for coffee nuts. Waterdrop is fast joining the top names in the booming water bottle industry, with ambassadors including tennis stars Novak Djokovic and Taylor Fritz (Djokovic having reportedly made a fairly sizeable investment in the company).
The Series 2 is an upgraded version of Chilly’s Original Water Bottle and has a few new features that set it apart from the first iteration, which we’ll get into below. I bought a chilly 2 coffee cup after a couple of weeks the tabs that hold the disc on broke, I got a replacement and now it has broken again, I am always careful and line the holes up before separating the 2 parts. Why we love it: As functional as it is cute, this heart-adorned Chilly's reusable cup boasts double-walled insulation to keep your drink hot and cold. Why we love it: KeepCup launched a thermal range which we're huge fans of, but we love their OG cork and glass reusable coffee cup just as much. I’ve had a chilly refill bottle for 5 years which I use every day and night, fresh cool water 24/7, I even take it on holiday.
Plastic uses oil and water in the production and releases carbon dioxide, a greenhouse gas, but can be more environmentally friendly if it is recycled. if only i could send it back for the company\/management to check on the insulation\/maybe any damages on my cup i would definitely do so just to make use of this purchase. The cup is made from glass to stop it from negatively impacting on your tea's flavour, and the silicone strap stops you from burning your hand.Namely, they keep your coffee hot for hours, rather than forcing you to drink it within a few minutes. Disposable coffee cups can’t be recycled with paper and cardboard, because they have a plastic inner coating.
I wouldn’t recommend it for countries where drinking tap water is advised against, but it’ll certainly help make water taste better. Thanks to the leak-proof design, I can make my tea at home and throw it in my rucksack as I get the train to work and it’s still warm the other side. Like our bottles, all Chilly’s Coffee Cups are made from durable, high-grade 304 stainless steel that preserves the flavour and freshness of your drink, without any tainting. Its antimicrobial collar does have a small few gouges on it, almost like the plastic got caught on something and scraped off. As long as you’re fine to carry the Chilly’s Flip bottle by the loop, or have a rucksack with a side pocket, this is an otherwise great water bottle both for the office and working out.It comes with a matte protective sleeve that stops you from burning your hands, and is made from ceramic which is really durable (and doesn't make your drink taste funny). Water stays hot for a long time – though I’m not sure about the 12 hours claim – and remains cold throughout the day; ideal if you’re on a long walk or a hike.
The bottom is slightly indented in the middle for a stable base and after a month of using it, I can confirm it’s durable and keeps water ice cold. I find I have to wash the travel mug straight away after using to avoid both those things, instead of waiting until I get home. The lid on the series 1 Chilly’s cup will prevent major spills, but we can’t expect zero leaks as there is a sip hole opening. The overall winner of my little experiment is the Chillys Series 2 followed closely by the SHO Pacto.
