Pitching pennies is the oldest of all the penny games and has been perennially popular among school kids. If you do not have a piggy bank you can make one by simply cutting a hole in the top of a recycled plastic container (ie Pringles Can, Oatmeal container, Margarine Container).

This challenge was a segment on Saturday Night Takeaway, and ITV chose to make a full show from the basic idea. Some versions of the game require the penny to hit the wall first and then bounce back to be counted.
