About this deal

The right combination of barefoot-friendly ground feel plus protection, thanks to our exclusive 5mm FeelTrue® rubber outsoles Fantastic for running, walking, and general ambulatory function. Bad for tap dance, moon walking, and sliding about on a dance floor. Pretty good for everything that doesn't require a ton of lateral motion. Oh, and good for golf. The elastic laces are not adequate in these conditions. I had to improvise and add velcro straps around the lace near ankles and going over the top of the foot to ensure that foot stays firmly in place.

You may also have seen them on a particular Xero Shoes Shark Tank episode. Today, their styles are sold in over 85 countries from around the world. You don’t have the same traction you do in shoes. On the face of it this sounds like a negative, certainly if you are racing over gnarly ground, but the fact the your feet will move around in the sandals if you are not properly balanced and in control means you can't get away with being too aggressive, which is probably a good thing long term. So far, I cumulated 33km running with the Genesis huaraches and I can say that I totally second what Randy says in his YouTube video. Prio – Women– On July 31st, 2019 we updated the sizing for the Women’s Prio, it now fits true to size.*

With the original design, there are no bonded materials, so everything could conceivably be recycled with ease, and they are suitable for vegans. They are infinitely adjustable, so you can spend a lot of time fiddling around with them to get them just right – although plenty of people love doing this. All of our men’s shoes are wider than conventional men’s shoes. If you normally wear a larger size to get a wider fit in conventional shoes, you may not have to do that with Xero Shoes. They are zero drop and have zero cushioning. You learn to use your God-given cushioned feet. So you won’t be able to pound the pavement unless you are willing to say ‘ouch’ every step. On paved roads, the sandals allow you to do your long slow runs once you get used to them. I have been doing 30+ km runs in them regularly. They are very light, have zero heel to toe drop, and are flexible.

I have had absolutely no problem moving my feet in these, and they do not impede my foot flex in the slightest. Xero Shoes ensures that customers will love their signature collection of footwear: “Genuine comfort comes from letting your feet do what’s natural – bending, flexing, moving, feeling. Xero Shoes let them do that.” I need these straps for tempo and intervals too. In effect, I use extra velcro straps all the time with my pair of Genesis. Haven't had them long, but so far they're great. They look good and look well made and robust. One little thing is most people will probably need to tighten the straps around the top of the foot as they are too loose, Here's a good video explain it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jMJLDRuv3LU) - make sure to take them off before adjusting them to avoid damage. So far so good. I would buy another pair without hesitation if these last as long as they're supposed to (which I assume they will!)The author for RunRepeat states that they offer a wide amount of toe space, as well: “The good news is, the running shoe offers so much more than forefoot space. Indeed, among other things, it also provides tons of comfort in its superbly lightweight confines.” Note: Be sure to print the templates at Actual Size (100% Scale) and verify with a ruler after printing.
