About this deal

Screw it. What was the worse that was going to happen? I'd grown up around a felon. A biker. I'd loved that felon biker for longer than he'd deserved.

Why should you read Mariana Zapata’s books? Is it worth it? There are many questions readers ask me frequently. I’ll answer them now. Here are several reasons: It’s not Grumpy Sunshine because they are both grumpy. I love all of these books very much, but the banter in love is the best. They are iconically funny together. They do not get along at all, but you get crumbs of them throughout the entire book, and you start to see that evolve. The figure skating aspect is also incredible. This is one of my best books, and it has been getting a lot of hype, as it deserves it. If you want to start with Mariana Zapata’s best books, it’s a very good one. 9. Luna and the Lie Themes of betrayal, redemption, and understanding are common through her works and the reader often faces moral dilemmas while reading Tarryn’s work.I don’t know who you’re talking about.” It wasn’t like whatever man they were referring to had ‘Anger Issues’ tattooed on his forehead. I hadn’t even seen him yet. What hit me immediately inside was all the natural light in the place. The orange-yellow light streaming in set off the dozens of framed newspaper and magazine articles mounted on the tinted blue wall. One magazine article immediately caught my attention with its glassy, red font proclaiming “Ink of the Year.” This story was soooo good. This is my second Mariana Zapata book and this is even better than the first one. Iris is so cute, endearing and her internal rants are just hilarious. Passers by probably thought I was a lunatic for laughing out load whilst walking my dog listening to the audio book. The narration was great, but we only get Iris pov. Even so listing to it whilst reading made a good story even better. The relationship with Sonny is super sweet. I love how they weren’t raised together but still held onto a deep connection. That's not necessarily a bad thing. In lieu of a roller coaster ride, we had a slow burn. I love it when attraction gradually evolves into love. This book had the makings of something great:

She also has a giant dog, a job she usually loves, and more than enough family and friends — but still, something feels off. When Dex told her to button up her cardigan because she was showing a little to much collarbone(?), I wanted to reach into the book a slap him silly. Iris already dress like a sixty year old librarian. Why not just demand that she wear a burka? It's also one of those books where she hates him, he acts like an asshole, sexual tension and then floodgates of mushy love. Oh, and I hate how much Iris felt sorry for herself. It made me feel less sorry for her because of it. Having gone through everything that she had, I would think she'd have a little tougher skin. But if someone so much as looked at her funny her lip started quivering. It just didn't feel believable that she could be that meek with that upbringing. I mean, I'm not even that meek and life hasn't handed me that many lemons. All of this assured me that I'd avoided having to interact much with my boss. The owner. The bleeding mouth sore.Though Iris was really shy, and a beginning.. a pushover, she never did get on my nerves. Recently, I've been feeling real judgy towards heroines. I just find something that always bothers me. Thinking about it now, I don't think I was ever like that with Iris. x ♾️ Reading this for the second time just brought me so much comfort and joy. I loved it just as much as the first time I read it. It was just perfection! This is a slow burn but compared to other books by MZ, it was not that slow. Their first kiss was at 58% so that’s pretty early compared to her other books. I wasn’t complaining though 😮‍💨🤭 Colleen Hoover and Mariana Zapata are my top favorite authors of all time. I have spent the entire time finishing up the books I had to read from her to make this guide unforgettable for you. There are no spoilers in this article, but if you want to skip the part about how they all connect, you want to be surprised. So I’ll leave that at the end so that it’s easier for you to skip. Why is Mariana Zapata a popular romance author? My inner nosey hooker perked up at all the clues they were dropping. Anger management classes? “What happened?” I asked in a conspiratorial whisper. Iris knows nothing about Motorcycle clubs until she goes to stay with her half brother (Sonny) who is a member of the Widowmakers club, WMC.
