About this deal

It’s often used together with ethylhexylglycerin as it nicely improves the preservative activity of phenoxyethanol. The entire Drops of Youth range, of which youth concentrate is one of the stars, is formulated around the same quad of ingredients and, as well as the serum, includes a foaming cleanser, toner, eye cream, moisturiser, night-time mask, sheet mask, reformulated liquid peel and the new bouncy jelly mist. But then again, as with the Youth Concentrate and the Youth Eye Concentrate, the Youth Cream isn't sold as an exfoliating product, but as a moisturizing product, so any exfoliation is just an extra plus. The Drops of Youth Youth Concentrate is the product that reminded me of the Nutragenics Drops of Youth Concentrate from last year. My favourite product, obviously, is the Bouncy Sleeping Mask - not only is it super fun to play with because of its novel texture, it's also moisturizing but lightweight.

It dries to a slightly tacky finish (which we don’t mind, as it’s rarely the final product in our routine) and feels like a fresh drink for your skin. The ingredients in the Bouncy Sleeping Mask are water, humectants (Propanediol, Glycerin), emollients (Dimethicone, Helianthus Annuus Hybrid Oil, Diheptyl Succinate), emulsifiers (Polysorbate 20), thickeners (Acrylates/Beheneth-25 Methacrylate Copolymer), and then we hit Phenoxyethanol, the main preservative. Some people may have concerns about the alcohol in the product, but I'm guessing it's present in there to aid penetration of the lotion, as well as any subsequent skincare products.

Notably, this is the only product with no alcohol, so if you (like me) prefer to avoid products with alcohol where possible, this product will be right up your alley. Unlike the Essence Lotion, it doesn't have an unexpected texture, and unlike the Eye Concentrate, it doesn't have nifty packaging, but nevertheless, it's a good staple if you like this range. The range is a brilliant choice for skincare addicts after protection from environmental damage and bouncy, hydrated skin without the spend demanded by luxury products. The packaging of the products in the Nutriganics line is slightly different - the "older" Bouncy Sleeping Mask, for example, has a white cap rather than a black one, while the Concentrate had a different lid and dropper. The rest of the ingredients are a bunch of ingredients that are good for skin, including antioxidants (Tocopheryl Acetate), humectants (Sodium Hyaluronate), and functional ingredients like film formers (Capryloyl Glycerin/Sebacic Acid Copolymer), thickeners (Xanthan Gum), pH adjusters (Sodium Hydroxide, Citric Acid), preservatives (Benzyl Alcohol)and so on.

But according to a comparative study done in 1995, citric acid has less skin improving magic properties than glycolic or lactic acid. Infused with Edelweiss extract, Drops of Youth Eye Concentrate promises to smooth out the area under the eyes utilizing plant stem cell technology. This isn't just a plain ol' rollerball, though, it is a combination of a rollerball and a pump dispenser. The Youth Cream, despite its name, isn't a traditional cream in the sense that it isn't heavy or thick or oily.

The two main use cases for Synthetic Fluorphlogopite is being used neat as a superior "filler" or skin tone enhancer or it can also serve as a base for multi-layered, composite pigments such as pearl effect pigments where it is coated with one or more layers of metal oxide, most commonly titanium dioxide. Skin is left soft and smooth, and it's a good option for those with sensitive skin or who are scared of the exfoliating heavyweights, but those who are after a more serious peel will find it underwhelming. Confined to our houses, heating, ventilation, cooking, damp, dust and even the light from your phone have the potential to cause surface-level congestion (aka spots) and deep damage, leading to premature ageing and possible discolouration. It’s safe and gentle, but even more importantly, it’s not a feared-by-everyone-mostly-without-scientific-reason paraben. So, in addition to just being an eye serum, this also is great as a quick fix" where you want your eye to look good right now - say, if you have an event to go to at night and want a quick fix to improve the appearance of your eye area. An often used glycol that works as a solvent, humectant, penetration enhancer and also gives a good slip to the products. The plant extracts (Orbignya Oleifera Seed Oil, Leontopodium Alpinum Meristem Cell Culture) are there too, as are the citrus fragrance ingredients (Linalool, Citronellol, Limonene).
