With SS12 about to hit stores, Whistls have collaborated with designer Matt Wingfield to radically transform the exterior of their store on St Christophers Place in London. I love the way the colours become part of the environment and the subtle movement of shapes from 2d to 3d

I love blogging and spend a lot of time reading other peoples blogs too! One of my favourite blogs is Fashion Dotty, written by the lovely Sarah from Manchester. Her blog is full of inspiration and styling posts and I always look forward to reading what she has been getting up too. she just tweeted me to share some pictures from her latest post as she knows how obsessed I am with any VM. I won’t have a chance to get down to London till next month so I have been feeding my VM appetite by looking at the website of Australian design company Gloss Creative. Probably one of the best VM companies ive come across to date (Not forgetting my other favourite, Chameleon based in London) Here is a display which Gloss Creative created for Melbourne’s GPO which features another favourite illustrator of mine, Laura Laine. If anyone is looking for a way to stand out from the crowd and produce a unique scheme this year then I would strongly reccomend teaming up with an illustrator to create a display. Maybe I will put together a post of some of my favourite illustrators to provide some inspiration! as you can see from the pictures below the results are amazing!

I took these pictuers of the Accessorize flag ship store on Oxford St, London when I was shooting for LFW back in September. Don’t know why I have only just realised I forgot to post them but they really are a treat for the eyes with the lovely mix of colours. Accessorize have really created their own way of merchandising stock! The Flagship store is particularly nice because they include mannequins which I havn’t seen at any of their other stores before.

There are two brands that I am desperate to see open stores in the UK simply because I love their VM. One is J-Crew the cool, preppy American brand made famous by their relaxed yet sophisticated approach to deisgn ( I am told they are opening a store in London so my wish may come true). The other is Sportsgirl, an Australian (I think) brand which to be honest I dont know a great deal about but I do know they have been implementing some great VM scemes. Here are a few pictures to whet your appetite.
