While Beko pitches itself as an affordable brand, this cordless vacuum cleaner is more expensive than many of its similarly specced rivals, such as the AEG QX6 Animal, but if you want a powerful cleaner, or have lots of nooks and crannies around your home, the flexibility the Beko PowerClean Cordless Vacuum Cleaner VRT94929VI offers may be worth investing in.

It also comes with a HEPA filter which removes allergens from the air, so is perfect for asthma sufferers. The Beko Powerclean has a trigger-style on button that can be pressed down to switch off, and there is a plus and minus button to toggle with the strength settings. The vacuum was pleasingly quiet when used on lower power settings, but registered 79db on our decibel meter on its most powerful setting – that’s almost as noisy as a truck traveling down a road at 40mph, and it’s one of the louder vacuums we’ve tested. A removable battery means that if you run into problems down the line then you can replace it easily. These didn’t get much use in my house simply because the baseline strength was more than enough for most messes. While some cordless vacuums will comfortably suck up dust from a flat hard surface, floorboards with deep crevices often prove a lot more challenging. The only audience who may not make the most of the Beko Powerclean is those with large homes and lots of mess. It also features a lightweight and cordless design, making it easy to manoeuver around furniture and hard-to-reach areas.The worst will give you less than twenty minutes of power and take more than half a day to fully recharge. I would recommend using this head for homes with a split of carpet and hardwood, because it was effective on both. Running through on Medium power, I managed a clean sweep through the middle with all dirt picked up.
