I have found on youtube he talks a little too fast and so I stopped watching his videos though, Ive always liked his content and messages. These self-dubbed “positive psychologists” provided an almost polar opposite explanation for human behavior: that human beings weren’t pushed by their past; they were pulled by their future. In Hardy’s case, he did this by setting up an automatic payment from his bank account to his investment account every Monday.With this view, the pot has little hope of ever truly understanding, let alone becoming, the potter.

So there, I will continue to recommend this book and will now go on to read his new book: "Why 10x is easier than 2x" written with Dan Sullivan. My attitude towards my children is more positive, and I have a vision of who I want to be, and I'm doing a better job of being that future person now, instead of waiting for it to happen by magic one day in the future.But doing so will be hard to swallow when you’re on your deathbed, reflecting on what otherwise could have been. Whatever your goals for your future self are, a time will come when you’ll need to bite the bullet and “finish” them – despite how imperfect and incomplete they may seem. Having more than three priorities will spread you too thin, and you will not make significant progress toward your goals. Shadow career is the term used to describe people who go on an alternative path from their true dream because they’ve given up on themselves. Aside from the basic mormonesque lifestyle, (both in observance and materialism) Chasidim (very often) come from a place of privilege while at the same time lacking some basic core thought processess that this book gives coherence to.
