Most people dont get to see the production side of a fashion week show. They turn up and the set is up, models ready to walk. But I finally got to see just how a show set comes together and I had the most amazing experience working with the team at Chameleon Visual. I was pretty much pinching myself all day.
I’m not sure what I expected but when Emma the Creative Director told me we had 1 hour to get the set up, I instantly thought ‘how the hell is this going to happen.’ What I then witnessed blew me away. The crew moved in to lay the floor and put up a curtain system to create a room within a room which was an explosion of the designers hand drawn prints. The team really do work so hard and they quickly set up the lighting and turned a simple white room into a beautiful fashion set ready for the designers, Tata Naka to showcase their AW12/13 collection to the press.
Here is a photodiary of my day!
and then the real fun began….

Awesome! Collection is gorgeous – love the beetlecrushers & neckpieces. I’d wear it all. Amazing how that could be a plain white room just an hour beforehand!
