For me 2010/2011 has been brilliant, starting this blog has been a fantastic journey exploring the industry of VM! The VM awards got me thinking about which windows have really stayed in my memory since starting the blog so I decided to do a little round up of my favourite windows to date
JULY 2010- I loved this window which was created by Jessica Dance for Kabiri, a jewellery retailer on Marylebone st, London. This picture was taken back in July 2010 and since then Jessica has gone on to work with the Mulberry VM team.
OCT 2010 – I love to see brands teaming up with creatives which is why I loved this Stella McCartney display featuring illustrator Helen Musselwhite.
NOV 2010 – my favourite christmas window? Liberty of London and their glittery world!
DEC 2010 – Louis Vuitton
JAN 2011 – My favourite mannequins to date!
FEB 2011 – Browns celebrated LFW with this fab neon inspired display

MARCH 2011 – Mulberry wowed me with this paper doll display
APRIL 2011 – Loved these surreal mannequins at Stella McCartney
JUNE 2011- I had the pleasure to visit Paris and LOVED this fantastical display at Louis Vuitton.
JUNE 2011 – Liberty of London
So there it is, a short round up of some of my favourite displays since I started this blog. I do realise they are all very girlie displays. Thats not to say I don’t love exploring every kind of window display, these are just my own personal taste when it comes to shopping! Whats been your favourite window so far?

I have just been introduced to Thierry Kauffman, who represents photographers and artists. Some of the designers he represents have worked with designers on some great visual displays including the Chanel pop up shop at Harrods, the Isabel Marant store and a Hermes window display. You can check out the site here but too whet your visual appetite over the next few days I am going to post an edit of some of the work from the artists he represents which I really love.

On this we peg up, with miniature pegs, kids drawings, photographs, fabrics and favourite prints. Against our wall of exposed brick they always stand out and everyone comments on them. Most importantly we change them all the time.’
Would just like to note, I did include all twitter entries too! Congrats to the winners if you could email me on victoria.buchanan@unn.ac.uk with your address I will get them in the post asap! and thank you to everyone who entered!!
