Lot’s of people often ask me, what goes into a fashion show, what happens backstage, is it all glamour?
Well the answer is yes… it its glamourous to the eye but at the same time a lot of hard work goes into making sure everything runs smoothly and also looks beautiful. This year design duo Tata Naka have worked with Chameleon Visual Ltd (whose work I am a huge fan of) to put together their Sprig/Summer 2012 presentation. Unfortunately I couldn’t make it to the show but I can share some lovely photographs from the day which will give you a great insight into what went into setting up the presentation. Please note all backstage images by Melvyn Vincent. By Chameleon – ”On Tuesday we set up the TataNaka SS12 London Fashion Week Presentation at Somerset House. The inspiration for the show came from Pina Bausch the German choreographer, dance teacher and ballet director. We had 2 set changes, dramatic dance poses, bespoke cake pops, bespoke vodka lemonade and lots and lots of fun! We hope you enjoy these backstage images as we did the day itself.”
