I don’t think there is any avoiding Fashion Night Out anymore so I will keep posting updates as I am sure you are all as excited as I am! Here are the details for the Anthropologie store on Regent St. You can get 20% off their new Autumn collections and some complimentary Champers… (note to self. dont get carried away with too much champagne or wont be able to see straight)
I never thought I’d see the day when my love for visual merchandising and shall we call it an ‘obsession’ with Net a Porter would collide. Well that day has come. To celebrate VOGUE fashion’s night out they are opening their first ever pop up shop on London’s Mount st. I mean THIS IS JUST GOING TO BE AMAZING (CAPS AND EVERYTHING.) To top things off nicely they are also offering £50 vouchers to the first 50 people through the door on the evening. See you there?
We just turned the heating on at home which in my mind signifies the end of summer. Not that it ever got started. A walk along Bond St and a look into the Mulberry store would also suggest that it is time to pack away the summer clothes, Autumn is here. Us Brits are as obsessed with the weather as we are Mulberry. One day I will own one of their bags. Mark my words!
Boy Meets Fashion…: H&M launches their first ever shop-in-shop at the department store Selfridges in London. Documented by Boy Meets Fashion Blog, Jaime London Boy takes a look around the new concession and meets the ever lovely Leigh Lezark who has curated some of her favourite items from the new collection.

Tatty Little Boots: The new Mary Portas shop fit at House of Fraser is aimed at a generation of grown up, modern women who want a modern and cool shopping experience.
Vistory: ”As the global recession begins to slow, we as consumers are keeping a closer eye on our wallets, and particularly what we’re spending our precious pennies on…” says Hayley from Vistory, here she tells us what the outdoor market can do to draw more people into stores
International Visual: Can a farm ever be stylish? I didn’t think so until I saw this amazing shop fit by the guys over at International Visual. Think chalky white paints, bleached wood, slate and ceramic tiles, weather boarded panelling & wicker baskets.
I was invited this morning to attend a bloggers briefing at Vogue House and had the pleasure to hear all about one of the years most anticipated events…. VOGUE’s Fashion Night Out. It really is going to top any shopping event the city has ever seen and I would even go as far to say I am more excited about this night than I am fashion week…. Shops are after all my bread and butter!

For those of you who haven’t heard of Fashion’s Night Out here is the lowdown… Across London Vogue is teaming up with a whopping 281 designers and retailers to create a dedicated night to celebrate the art form that is shopping. High-st shops, boutiques, department stores and leading designers brands are all joining forces to offer us mere mortals a one-off shopping experience which will include plenty of cocktails, some great discounts and more importantly the chance to meet some of the designers behind the brands we love. Take note, this is not a VIP event, although there will undoubtably be lots of VIP’s! Everyone is welcome to join in the fun!
It would literally be impossible to list what every brand will be doing but here are a few of the retailers I am most looking forward to celebrating with… RUPERT SANDERSON will host a Roller Disco in Mayfair which the Vogue girls and guys were VERY excited about and I have already reserved my size 6 skates! DIOR are going to be setting up a black cab on New Bond St where guests will be able to dress up and have their photograph taken. MATTHEW WILLIAMSON (who I have to mention as he is my favourite designer) will be presenting his brand new diffusion line modelled by the face of the collection, Edie Campbell. Fashion blogger Disneyrollergirl has teamed up with HARVEY NICHOLS and will be auctioning secret customised designer t shirts with all proceeds going to the well deserving charity Kids Company. FRENCH CONNECTION and ALL SAINTS will be offering a whopping 20% off their collection and MULBERRY will be getting into the carnival spirt with a live celebrity DJ, nail painting, prize draws every 30 minutes, a fortune teller and a photo booth area. Phewwwww… this is going to be one night! Oh and did I mention that for the first time EVER Bond Street will be completely closed off to traffic… amazing!
