Trend Bible: Visual merchandising trends

If you’re a visual merchandiser looking for a trend company to provide seasonal direction then the search is over. Trend Bible is a trend forecasting company which produces bi-annual trend books for the Home Interiors and Kid’s Lifestyle sectors. They have just teamed up with London’s Top Drawer show to demonstrate how to buy into future key seasonal themes and I think you will all agree there are some amazing concepts here. I particularly love the Autumn / Winter 2011/12 Shelter theme and I just think its such a fresh and modern take and straight away I can really see how this would transfer visually into a window scheme.

Autumn/Winter 2011/12 Shelter

Spring / Summer 2011 Vintage Vacation

This is another amazing story, the gorgeous ice cream van is a real show-stopper,  provided by Russ classic ices.

Spring / Summer 2011 Spectacle

Inspired by dark tales and a desire for the unusual this story is all about creating a poetic atmosphere.

GIVEAWAY: Window Display: New Visual Merchandising by Tony Morgan Book

**Update** this giveaway has now closed and I will be announcing the winner tomorrow evening (tuesday)! Thanks to everybody who entered and fingers crossed if your hoping to win

I was contacted by the publishers of  Window Display: New Visual Merchandising by Tony Morgan back in September to review this book. I read it from cover to cover straight away and loved it. Why I didn’t review it straight away… I have no idea. Well actually I’ve kind of been snowed under with work and doing Visual posts is a lot easier than the writing kind.

So where to start? Firstly this book is a must for any aspiring visual merchandisers out there. Its full of gorgeous and relevant imagery from some of the leading brands out there, Matthew Williamson, Topshop and Moschino to name a few. It goes into great depth about different techniques retailerss can use to promote and display their brand

So for all my lovely readers I have managed to get a second copy and I thought it would be nice to have a little giveaway to say thank you for coming back and reading my blog!
